The economic feasibility of a windpark depends on the wind power output. Aeolis Forecasting Services performs wind assessments to calculate the expected wind power output for the next years. Local wind climate will be calculated, using WASP (www.wasp.dk) , local roughness charts and large scale climate models. Depending on the wind direction and park orientation losses are estimated. Local wind climate and the estimated result in the expected wind power output, with an estimate of best and worst cases.
